  "biographicalOrHistoricalInformation": "Die (Besitz-)Verha\u0308ltnisse in der Offizin scheinen komplex gewesen zu sein. Eigentu\u0308mer war vermutlich zuerst Jean Calvin (1561?-1590), Neffe des gleichnamigen Reformators. Vermutlich erbte er die Offizin von seinem Vater, Antoine Calvin (-1573), bzw. die Rechte an einigen Texten. Bei Gru\u0308ndung der Offizin war Jean Calvin jedoch erst 12 Jahre alt. Anfangs wurde die Offizin deshalb von Jean Calvins Stiefmutter, Antoinette Commelin, zusammen mit deren Cousin Hieronymus Commelinus (1550?-1597) gefu\u0308hrt. Evtl. wurde die Offizin aber auch erst von Antoinette Commelin eingerichtet. Zahlreiche Drucke der Offizin erschienen auch unter dem Namen von Pierre de Saint-Andre\u0301 (1555-1624), \"Apud Petrum San(c)tandreanum\", Sohn von Antoinette Commelin (aus 1. Ehe mit Jean de Saint-Andre\u0301 (-1557)). Pierre de Saint-Andre\u0301 war jedoch kein Buchdrucker. Warum die Offizin den Namen von Saint-Andre\u0301 und nicht von Calvin tra\u0308gt, ist unklar. Ebenso unklar ist die Beziehung mit der Heidelberger Offizin von Hieronymus Commelinus und dessen Erben; Besonders bei Drucken ohne Nennung eines Erscheinungsortes ist es unklar, ob sie in Genf oder Heidelberg erschienen sind.",
