Spa\u0308testens seit dem Mauerbau 1961 fu\u0308hrte dies zu gro\u00dfen organisatorischen Problemen, so dass die EKD ihre gemeinsamen Aufgaben in beiden deutschen Staaten nicht mehr aufrechterhalten konnte. Auch die Probleme der allta\u0308glichen kirchlichen Ta\u0308tigkeit unterschieden sich zunehmend. So wurde 1969 der Bund der Evangelischen Kirchen in der DDR als Zusammenschluss der acht Landeskirchen auf dem Gebiet der DDR gegru\u0308ndet. Nach der Wiedervereinigung beider deutscher Staaten 1990/91 vereinigte sich der Bund der Evangelischen Kirchen in der DDR am 24.02.1991 wieder mit der EKD.",
