  "biographicalOrHistoricalInformation": "In Gera Hofbuchdrucker, verheiratet mit Maria Grosse, druckte u. a. zahlreiche Leichenpredigten und Dissertationen. Sein Betrieb brannte ab; er lie\u00df sich dann in Jena als Drucker nieder. Die 6 Drucker Jenas und der Universita\u0308t protestierten gegen seine Zulassung, die M. aber mit Unterstu\u0308tzung Herzogs Wilhelm Ernst durchsetzte. Wegen einer Nachdruckssache wurde er bereits 1690 von der Universita\u0308t religiert. Im Jahre 1696 ging er nach Erfurt. Hier druckte er die erste Erfurter Apothekertaxe. Lt. Benzing soll er im Ma\u0308rz 1709 seine Druckerei an Peter Fickelscheer verkauft haben; lt.
