Arnd (bis 1883) verkauft, der Otto Schwabe eine Prokura erteilt. 1882 firmiert man als \"Geographisches Institut F.H. Arnd\" & unter diesem Name wird eine Firma nach Leipzig verlegt. Ein Firmenmantel \"Geographisches Institut\" & das Bertuchhaus bleiben in Weimar zuru\u0308ck. Das GI wird 1883 von einer Commanditgesellschaft mit den perso\u0308nlich haftenden Gesellschaftern Hermann Wei\u00dfbach & Wilhelm Merz u\u0308bernommen. Wei\u00dfbach (gest. am 30.12.1889) ersetzt seinen ersten Teilhaber Merz durch Julius Iwan Kettler. 1891 ist J.I. Kettler alleiniger Inhaber des GI. Otto Weise fu\u0308hrte in Kettlers Auftrag die Gescha\u0308fte weiter. 1903 wurde das GI durch Otto Weise an Max Wedekind verkauft. 1905 wird das GI letztmalig im Adre\u00dfbuch Weimars erwa\u0308hnt. Um 1907 schlie\u00dflich aufgelo\u0308st. In seinen letzten Publikationen firmierte der Verlag als \"Geographisches Institut Weimar und Wien\".",
