Die Druckerei geho\u0308rte urspru\u0308nglich Antoine Calvin und sollte nach dessen Tod von seiner Witwe Antoinette Commelin und deren Vetter Je\u0301ro\u0302me Commelin (Hieronymus Commelinus) weitergefu\u0308hrt werden bis der Sohn Pierre de Saint-Andre\u0301 (aus erster Ehe) die Druckerei u\u0308bernehmen konnte. Dazu kam es jedoch nicht, da Antoine Calvin seinem minderja\u0308hrigen Sohn Jean (einem Neffen des Reformators Jean Calvin) die Druckerei vermachte. Da man aufgrund der Namensgleichheit vermutete, da\u00df Drucke jeglicher Art in katholischen La\u0308ndern schlechten Absatz finden wu\u0308rden, wa\u0308hlte man den Namen Pierre de Saint-Andre\u0301. Die Firma: Ex Officina Sanctandreana wurde auch von Hieronymus Commelinus in Heidelberg benutzt",
