In 1724 erstellte er den Stolberger Kupferhof Rosenthal des Johannes Schleicher und in 1725 mit seinem Bruder Wilhelm das dortige Kirchenschiff der ref. Gemeinde. Am 23.7.1725 heiratete er in der kath. St. Lucia Kirche in Stolberg die Anna Christina Graff, Schwester seines Werckmeisters Johann Albert Graff. Nach einem Prozess von 1730-33, 1736 mit den Kupfermeistern Simon Lynen und Theodor Florenz Peltzer wegen des Baues einer Kupfermu\u0308hle in Scherpenseel/Eschweiler (Prozessakten 321 u. 479 NRW-Archiv Du\u0308sseldorf) zog er in 1737 nach (Kreuz-) Wertheim. Seit 1. Juli 1741 stand er in den Diensten des Fu\u0308rsten Carl Thomas zu Lo\u0308wenstein-Wertheim-Rochfort in Wertheim",
